“what a game...couldn't handle the ball hardly at all--just enough to make me think I had a chance...but not quite enough.

Amazon's with 8 blodgers and me with 3 players with block..I was out skilled this game by quite a bit. I did have the strength on the Zon's, but that just meant that I got 2db alot. Couldn't break AV 7 when I did knock them down (about 3 KO's and a few stuns)..while the Ladies 1st knock down resulted in one of my 3 Blockers missing next game!

This game was a very hard fought match though, with both teams on the verge of winning all the way to the end. I failed the 1st of 2 needed GFI's on turn 8 for the win...but If I could have handled the ball earlier in the half it would not have been needed. Ran a pretty good play to pull most Zon's to the top of the field, then cut back across and got to the other side line..but a Handoff (that in retrospect, I probably didn't need to d) to a protected CW failed...then the pick up the next turn failed. but the ball was in THREE tackle zones..I was planning how to advance it next turn, when the Amazon Thrower got in..and picked it up!!! then dodged away and threw it back towards the other sidelines...I was way out of position!

But I got my players back in time to Thwart the Zon's from scoring, then got the ball back and started for my own EZ...falling 1 square short in the end.

Agily 4 Beast got block...and a niggle via aging..but got another agilty 4 beastman also! woot!!!”
