In addition to the favorable kick-off results, I pulled off some silly plays that probably shouldn't of worked and the Firstborn kept tripping when just backing off a step. The only thing that kept the luck ratings close was that I'd pull off a silly play and then blow the 2+ quick pass or trip on a gfi.

Unfortunately, as things turned sour for the firstborn, the fouls started flowing. I'm not one to complain, but it does bug me some. The 2 BHs were off of blocks, but both SIs were fouls with a swarm of "high" ones around to make sure they hurt. I apothed my MNG wardancer, but couldn't save the tree.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I stalled turn 7 as a little tiny bit of payback. It was annoying and wrong, but it sure felt good at the time. Also, it was a pretty smart move, considering i I could have scored and risked 3 elves on the line (and it was clear that Pontus was looking for some satisfaction) or held it a turn and only been subject to a single blitz (and the inevitable turn 8 foul, naturally). Not a proud moment for me, though.
