“3rd win in a row! wootage! 3rd game where i've needed to buy a new player! :[

this was a game with the kid gloves on; 42:46 blocks, 0:2 casualties. Lacking the +1 to the ff roll from cas's saw the elves sit on their current ff of 6. (that or the ff dice just rolled one too low :] )

Izi, in fine form, managed to make 8 blocks all game. 2 were double skulls and she also fell over on a gfi. She spent all of the first half rooted, failing her take root roll on the first turn of the first 2 drives.

Ishma'el was bh'd on the Ancients first turn. fortunately she didn't get the mvp for the performance :]

However, the star performance goes to Eth'el. She got 2 td's this game. earning her a skill roll! However, on the very last turn of the game, in an attempt to get a 4th td, she took the first action.
Leap! 1... ok, so i guess that's the end of that turn then....

1666661! on the last turn of the game for another dead elf :] kinda took the sails out of the guys and girls victory dance later that night.

However, despite this tale of woe we had it good too. With both wights missing the game due to previous injuries! The undead also miss threw some early passes, allowing the elvsies to get away to a 2-0 lead by half time! Also, Max'el got the mvp for a skill roll!

A messy first drive in the second ended with the elves third mid half. The Ancients scored a brisk 2 turner to get their TD in turn 7.
In all, it was a great fun game. Just wish that Eth'el had lived to make her skill roll :[
