“Good game played by WiNG. His dice screwed him - there were an awful lot of skulls there and I started off really lucky with a few KO'd players but it was closer than the score indicates. He had chances to score near the ends of both halves.
On the whole, defensive setups were great. Simple 3-4-4, but it worked quite well since he had me slightly out-muscled (all str 3, but he has a guard and a few more blockers, I think... + av8 linos) and my speed advantage was a only small one... not enough to blow past him in the least.
The DE's offense struggled a bit. On a few turns turns it looked as though you were in need of a really basic plan. Sort of a moment to say, "Ok, I want to get this guy in position on the side and a few guys to cover him. Now, who do I get over there?" It might have been that you were rushed. i know you had to split immediately after the game. So, sorry if it was distracting or if I'm reading this wrong.
On the whole, the ballcarrier and potential receivers were a little short on protection - which is how I managed to sneak into the backfield and get to the ballcarrier a couple of times. Mine wasn't much better. I couldn't get started past the defensive line after receiving. I just managed to flood one side of the field and sneak past in three or four rather than in two.
Your risk management was good. On most plays, there was a very smart - aggressive, but smart - ordering of actions and you caught a few times where I screwed up and took unnecessary risks myself (handoff to the catcher for the second score comes to mind).
Basically just a little more practice getting that offense rolling and covering the important players with tzs and I'd say, "What the Hell is this guy doing in the Academy?" You have to look at any roll you make and say, "This roll will fail and cause a turnover. How screwed will I be when this happens? Should I do something else instead?"

Thanks for the game, WiNG.”
