“A good game, much lighter than some of the 200+ TR games we've experienced over our checkered history.

We struggled to contain them in the first half after two injuries resulted in us going down to 9 players. We gave it a good shot, but unfortunately we let them through in the 6th turn. We had a small crack at equalising before the break, but it was short lived.
Second half we tied up the oposition line and had the new Runner Markau move out wide left. after a brief scuffle we went over for 1-1. the Barley Boyz had 3 or 4 turns in hand though, and a 3 man advantage, so we were looking down the proverbial barrel, so to speak...... and then the luck swung. Needing a GFI to score for 2-1 in the 7th turn, our opponents decided not to risk it, as most of Dig Dug was tied up, or in the injury box. Dorin, in two TZ's needed a 4+, 3+ single dice blitz to hit the ball carrier, who was one square from the line(with a RR though). So off he went....4+...3+...POW...GFI failed, RR...pick up. "WOW" I thought, "but he'll knock him over and make the pick up to score"..... but he didn't. After what seemed like an age he finally moved the one square.....and he failed the pick up(no RR), game over, 1-1.

Add to that Gamil Zirak's 100th game played, and enough cash to buy a twelfth player, life is good!
