Just a miserable game, all 'round. The teams took turns bashing each other into juicy bits, first one team would be bashed for a few turns, then the other, then back again. Those corpsey-types had several odd turnovers, including failed dodges and the like. Nonetheless, following my "BBowl For Dorfs" manual, I put them in position to score on the final play of each half, and each time the ball flopped futilely to the pitch to end the half.

The first half, all Hands, the Receiver, had to do was move seven uncluttered spaces to a score to finish out the half, and of course he fails the GFI, the ball scattering into the end zone. The second half ended when we finally pulled the ball out of a scrum in the middle of the pitch, and Ace, the Quarterback (with Pass) had to throw it to Hands, who was six spaces from the end zone. All Ace had to do was throw a Quick Pass, Hands had to catch it and the game was won. And of course the ball thuds to the granite like so many gobbo skulls through the ages.

So, like I said, a thoroughly unsatisfying game. And not just because I didn't win, but because nothing interesting happened, either. The only CAS anyone inflicted was a BH, and it was regen'd. The SI that the Wight suffered was from dodging (not a good idea, in the first place with non-ghouls, but hey, I've done it too). It was just a long, slow, defensive struggle without a great defensive performance by either side.
