Don't dish out too many CAS, I don't have an apothecary........prophetic words indeed. As BAD!!MrMojo says by turn 4 he had filled the SIn bin with 2 players and the RIP bin also had a full complement. Thankfully the remaining players managed to get the ball of his killer flings and give us a 1-0 lead. The flings played (somewhat suprisingly) a running game, and by the time they had got to the endzone another WE had been SI'd. We came out in the second half with 6 men vs 8, not ideal. The Kings again took the lead, but the flings were don't on the bash count and managed to put another of the remaining elves in the KO bin.

Again the flings went with the running game, and by the time they got to the line there was 1 elf left on the pitch. Thankfully 3 more recovered sufficiently to help the defence which needed to hold on for 2 turns. The ball scattered straight to an elf from the kick off, and he pelted at full speed towards his own endzone. We gratefully hung on against a second 2 dice my choice block (the other one of those from the flings had resulted in a POW/PUSHBACKPOW and an SI) to get a deserved draw.

BAD FLINGS!

Wow. Lookit them CASs. I really wasn't going for it, honestly.
By turn 4 I had dealt out 2 SIs and the 2 dead. I was going to start fouling to clear off the pitch, but... it just seemed... wrong...

The last play of the game left me with a very very slim chance to score, but, needless to say, it didn't work out quite so well... Maybe next time.

For the record, Dan did quite a job just keeping it at a draw, when outnumbered 4-10 at one point. I suppose the decision to tie it slowly and go for a quick score to win was a bad one on my part as well. Oh, well. Sorry for smooshing your woodies.

Do not mock the 'fling cage!
