“well.... I played like an idiot so it was a deserved loss. Just looking at that other team roster I figured I would be in for a hard time, and was expecting to have to retire my team (thinking claw and AV7'd be my undoing). Started off the game with Get the Ref, which depending on what you want to do is a good or bad thing.
Fouled the ST4 wolf as soon as I got the chance, but it stayed on the pitch... of course a third my team is blocked off the pitch, wasn't thinking straight. Good thing my norse were wearing underpants +4 or it would be bloody. Got in a real mess with pushouts imminent, then escaped their clutches. Made a dash for the endzone but got intercepted.
Second half, no fouling but another stalemate, until I lost the ball and had to prevent him from scoring. My life was made just a little easier by blocking that ST4 wolf out of the pitch. Angelface did a good job of marking all of my players so I had to dodge out or do 1dice blocks. Last turn I figured I had to dodge out and make a screen (turned out it wasn't needed), tripped, making for an easy TD.
Anyway, angelface was a good sport, and I'd play him again. I won't stop fouling werewolves though :P
Lessons learnt:
1. Don't expect to lose or get your team retired, it just makes you play badly.
2. +AG advances are cool, when you need to dodge a lot.
3. Spielberg doesn't like to be interrupted in the bathroom.”
