“This is an old match but it seems in hindsight a shame not to just do a quick write-up as a caution for coaches who happen to stumble across this and think "hey, that Evo guy got beat by that schmuck Altin, he can't be so tough." Make no mistake folks, Lady Luck suited up for the Blitzkrieg that day.

The thing I can't decide about this match is whether my defense sucks worse than I thought or if I was just up against a force of nature. I mean, me getting 2 turn touchdowns is not unusual (I have an ag 4 thrower who never rolls 1s which makes things like scoring not too hard) but usually it takes other human teams a bit longer. Those Anarchists, thought, they just ran the ball right through my usually respectable defensive line-ups ... no cage or anything, just clever positioning which made them nearly impossible to contain *or* turn over. It brought a tear to the eye, not the least because it was happening to my poor team.

Anyway, neither team able to stop the other on attack, the Blitzkrieg and the Anarchists traded two-turn touchdowns for the duration of the first half like a bunch of wood elfs for a 2-2 halftime score. Then the second half started with a 6-turn riot and the ball in my hands. I then dashed off a poorly executed but extremely lucky 2-turner for the final score. Had I thought of it, I might have offered to sell Evo my lucky rabbit's foot :)”
