REPORT:
What a start for the Herd! It was always going to be a fist fight and the WickerMen didn't dissapoint early on. Nothing but blocks and more blocks figured from the start (and that was just the pitch invasion). Gone did his thing up the back with the ball while the bodies kept flying in front of him. A long pass for glory was dropped in the endzone...but Gone just kept running and picked it up again to score in T8! (Firecracker Firecracker SisBoomBaaa!!!) 1-0 Crowes at the half.
2nd half saw a sweep with a ghoul swinging wide. But HorseHead got across and dropped him when he tried to press forward! A good play by a Wight to grab the ball and score came undone when he made the dodge yet failed the pick-up! BoomersStory gathered on a brave blitz/pickup/dodge combo and rushed the length of the field behind some nice blocking to score 2ndTD and seal the win!
Notable Notes:
This is the 5th game in a row that the Crowes have NOT allowed a TD!
Both Wights were held to a combined 3 blocks!
Both Ghouls together only managed 7 spaces rushing and one pass.
6 fouls against are the most we have ever endured...one leading to a RIP (saved) and another for a SI/niggle...nice work dirty players ;-)
