“Technically, I didn't wait to score... I moved my full distance without GFI'ng, and scored the next turn.
However, I do admit that the last couple of fouls were bad... I guess early on, targetting key players like the Strig Lord [holy moly that guy was scary] was good... but it did go sour afterwards.
Like I said... it was not a good day, and the fanatic killing himself on T2 with the reroll just didn't make it all that better...
But anyways, about the game: It was a fun and close one, that managed to elude my grasp as Celas had a better idea of how to play his team than I had of mine. Needless to say, when I did understand how to do it, it was a little too late. Besides, going through rerolls like toilet paper was not really a fun thing either, but it managed to work out in the end.
You have to hand it to the regular gobbos, they managed to rack up 3 cas all by themselves, while the DPs accounted for a vampling and the strig lord.
The chainsaw made 2 blocks at most... before the strig lord saw him and beat him unconscious, which caused the other gobbos to give the undead loony a boot with the special leaded end. After that, he managed to score, and really, after that, it was an uphill fight to keep the ball. It was a fun game, though a little sore for Celas after one of his vamplings niggled... I'm terribly sorry, I was overcome with bloodlust. OFAK if you would. Sadly, his regen failed him both times after the kicks, and the ref didn't catch either of the foulers, with me being able to successfully argue with the ref those times...
“Ouch. Got fouled a lot. At least until I pointed out that the league was not meant to be rampant with fouling after another gathering and fouling niggled another player when I had 5 guys on the pitch and with Alcing waiting to score on the goalline. Early fouls were strategic and worked well. Later fouls....when, let's just say you should not write a match report after a game like this.
I'm sure I will forget about it by tomorrow though. It's just bloodbowl after all. :)”

I look forward to the next opponent!
