Bit disappointed about how this game went. The first few turns were terribly unlucky for me, but I thought things would look up after I managed to Cas his Str 4 tackler on a foul. How wrong I was; his first goal was the fruit of terrible rolls on my part and good rolls on his.

I managed to even the score quickly enough, but he came back and scored again in the last half due to a mistake on my part. Then, in the second half, I proceded to throw everything I could at that Str 4 tackler. I managed to KO him twice, and then my DP got sent off. During this time, he scored a third time, I scored a second time, and then I decided to gamble everything on the last kick off. After all, there's not a lot of difference between losing 3-2 and 4-2. I attacked all-out, and though I did force his thrower to dodge, his luck protected him on those crucial rolls and he managed to win free of my mad scramble. Maybe next time...

I did win on double skulls, though! I got 4 to his none, so at least I won the moral victory.
