“This was a true challenge.
Which coach would be unluckier?
I think Trif won. (in having more bad luck that is)
He had going for him;
The score Trif vs me:
-a MNG (but I had one too)
-a death (I had one too but used apothecary)
even so far I'd say. ;)
-He had plenty double-skulls, even twice in a turn at one time.
I have to offer; Scratch going for it, rolling 1 (RR with sure feet) and 1 again, badly hurting himself. He had the ball in hand and was about to long-pass it with a team RR to back it up.
Another 1 RR 1 with my AG5 gutter scurrying to the ball whom I just freed with a nice strip ball-blitz.
All in all I think that he deserves to change his name to überjinxed, based on this game but it was closer than one might think. ;p
The final bit going against me was the MVP dropping on the linerat with one spp thus creating a team in which every last rat has block!
This was negated by the fact that my gutter runner rolling for his 3rd skill aged. I gave him dirty player for laughs. He will be retired as soon as I get my ag5 gutter back after the next match. Maybe even sooner.
“i missed one score because i rolled skulls RR skulls, and that would have made it 2-2. instead he scored to make it 3-1. then at the end i rolled anothe double skulls off the ball when i could have ran in for 2-3. but by that point the game was lost, so it didn't really matter.
7 double skulls throughout the match, coupled with the first 6 kick-offs going against us consigned this game to the dustbin.
we could have used the apo on larue, but it was only turn 4, and we couldn't risk it. turns out we could have, but......meh.
jinxed, as always, made the game bearable, and we look forward to playing again.
at the very start, both coaches were heard to say "wouldn't even luck be nice for a change?"........ i think we were asking for it really.... =)”
