“This game started out rather badly for the Go-Backs, the Blotters got a blitz on the very first drive of the match and proved to be out for blood from the start with lots of casualties, KO's, and knockdowns. Amazingly the Go-Backs still managed a quick score even when they only had two player's left standing. The Blotters managed to equalize in the dying seconds of the first half after a bitterly contested drive, where it almost seemed like the Go-Backs stopped playing before the whistle blew, perhaps they were still confused after the blitz and all the bashing they had received?
In the second half it looked like the Blotters were going to score again, using their successful tactics from the first half, when suddenly the Go-Backs got their own back at the Blotters, knocking out and injuring four of their opponents during a single turn. (Including a blatant foul on the Salivating Dali, which I'm happy to say that the referee spotted...). After that the match was really over, and the Go-Backs could rather easily just walk across the field carrying the ball...”
“The Go-backs proved that you only need 2 elves to score on their very first drive after the Blotters blitzed on the first turn and knocked out a few elves. The Blotters responded on the last play of the half by outsprinting the elves after breaking free of a scrum. Disaster struck midway through the second half as the Go-back took out three players in one turn. Badly outnumbered the Blotters made a desperate attempt to score. The elves dodged past the bestman to blitz the ball carrier and had just enough time to score.”
