“Even though I had nearly 40 team strength on Dreadclaw, I knew I was in for a rough ride. Dreadclaw never ceases to beat people something terrible.

It started with the first foul I dropped with my only DP getting my guy sent off and the DP target unhurt. Dread continued to put more orcs into either KO or the hospital. My good Black Orc got niggled and the apoth failed on the 3rd turn. Somehow my SF blitzers held the line long enough for me to get passed his defenses and then it was smooth sailing to the TD line. I stalled on turn 7 in a really risky way that proned my ST 4 blitzer but he blitzed back and scored the 1st TD.

The second half went a little better for me. The boys started to put the beat down on Dread's boys, and a blitzer popped the ball out of dread's thrower but it scattered onto his Black Orc. He changed gears and ran to the other flank where my defenses were sparse, but I held him there. Dread attempted a pass but the ball scattered onto my catch goblin and he ran off with a significant wall of my orcs between him and Dread. The rest of the game was just Dread pushing guys down and fouling them, and some trying to get the ball back, but it was too late by then.
