“Team's very first game, very first turn--badly hurt CD blocker and hobgob. My turn 1--blitz with a bull, pow/skull, both down--he's prone, another badly hurt team member to me. Things are really looking up for the team's future already, ya know? I was __THIS__ close to conceding the match and retiring the team in frustration, but decided what the heck, out of morbid curiousity I'll see how much more damage the team can take.
Never took another cas, and only one ko, the rest of the game. Can't say the same for my opponent--the black orc who badly hurt two of my guys in one turn (quite a feat) was sent to his great green maker, no apo in sight. All around av 9 is enough protection, right? Well...
It was only some lucky gfi's (and failed gfi's on my opponent's part) which allowed me to score twice and keep him from scoring a second time, so I haven't learned yet what I'm seeking--how to defeat a chaos dwarf team without relying on pure luck. Maybe next game my opponent will defeat me, and I'll have a strategy to use in my future battles AGAINST chaos dwarves...”
