I was lax on offence and left a wide open gap that was exploited when I failed my sure hands attempt to pick up the ball. My opponent stole the ball and was able to score comfortably.
The next kick off saw my fans kill the Witch Elf Tutankhamen with a rock (21 vs 20 FF) and the apothecary failed. I again was lax on offence and left a gap after failing to pick up the ball again with my Thrower but my opponent still had the worse luck with the rock.
My opponent stole the ball and drove deep but I was able to recover the ball with a lot of GFIs to set up the blitz and was able to work the ball upfield to score despite an initial tough defence that soon fell apart due to quite a few KOs.
I pushed forward and scored leaving 2 turns for my opponent to try and take the lead.
He had some hard luck with the opening blocks of the drive with lots of Skull/Pows and Pushes and the centre was quite blocked and he was only able to get one player into scoring range. I knocked him down and the threat was over.
Second half I started on offence and again my opponent had some bad luck with the opening blocks and was unable to do much. Bad luck befell him again when the penetrating player with the ball tripped and fell deep near my endzone.
There was a bit of a farcial contest for the ball where I failed an easy pass and my opponent kept rolling badly and ending up stunned or KOd. He took a dangerous but calculated risk to shove my ball carrier out of a cage by doing a two dice I choose which ate up his reroll. His one dice blitz against an Orc Lineman without Mighty Blow resulted in a skull and death.
My opponent understandably conceded after I consolidated with the ball and pushed past the line of scrimmage with a cage as he had no means left of stopping me scoring and the game was pretty crap for him.
