“This game started the same way the last ended, with the Maniacs quickly receiving 4 BHs in the first 3 turns. I was about to even kiss a tie goodbye, but due to some extreme luck, combined with simtong trying to fish some SPPs by unnecessary passing, I got the ball early on and scored with 6 rats on the field. The elves scored next, but in the mean time I was able to bring their numbers down a little as well, so when I received in second half, I was able to score again.
The elves had 4 turns left to score, but a great kick down in the far corner and a failed pickup put them under pressure. I then even managed to intercept the ball with my last turn and had to do just one dodge to claim a 3-1-victory, but it failed despite a reroll.. anyway, victory for Moers Maniacs.”
