Falcone has a brutally nasty Necro team. The strength 4 Wolf and Ghoul with a boatload of skills are just nasty. Each time we've played in the past, I've scrapped and scraped and barely came away with a tie. And this game was no different... right up until turn 7 of the second half.

He had the ghoul, I think, about 7 spaces into my half of the field and set up to win the game. My turn comes up and my very first move is to take my open, saurus (the one without break tackle) and run him into scoring range. We both had a moment to laugh about that. Then it got silly.

My first break tackle saurus dodges away and throws a tz on the (st 4) ghoul. Jalen, with block, tackle, pro and the all-important break tackle) dodges away, goes for it and then has to use Pro on the block to finally take down the ghoul. Ball bounces towards my skink.

I thought, "What the Hell. It will never work if I don't try it, right?" The skink grabs the ball and heads towards midfield. GFIs into the maximum range his puny little raptor arm can possibly, theoretically throw the ball and lets it go. Fumble, RR, accurate and caught on a 5. That's a long bomb from the stunty skink to the AG 1 saurus.

His players were out of position, so the best he could do was put a tz on the saurus, who blitzed, pushed the wight away and GFI'd twice for the game. Priceless. Utter bullshit but priceless.
