“The first half was a hard fought struggle in the rain, which it appeared to be going the amazon way after an interception. However, ball control issues slowed us down enough for the humans to get back into defensive position, and a failed 2+ dodge gave the humans the opening they needed to roll a series of 3+/4+ to take the ball the other way and score. Undaunted, my ladies were able to dodge through enemy lines, then punch a hole to throw through for the equalizer as the first half ran out.

Second half we receive and push forward for a rather straight forward score, which he responds in kind to after a gamble to blitz his thrower failed the last dodge, leaving the entire side of the pitch nearly devoid of defenders and letting him just waltz in for a 2-2 game. Our third score came really hard, but it came just the same, and we had only to defend for two turns to keep the victory. He even left himself wide open for me to blitz his ballcarrier, but alas, even with a 2d-rr-2d hit I was unable to do more than push him away, then fail a gfi to try to box him in. Thus he could easily pass again to my sideline the open catcher to tie the game one more time as time ran out.

Very enjoyable game, one which required much strategic thinking on both sides. It was HIGHLY irritating the sheer number of POWs he rolled during the course of the game; an insane number of POW, to the point that I felt blodge was absolutely worthless to have. Suffered some heavy hits, too, all in the first drive of the game, so next game will be a bear. But we'll gladly accept an invite for a rematch down the line from this coach!”
