“What a game ... the dwarves started on offense, quickly dispatching the poorly armoured Vikings one by one. Two Serious Injuries - luckily without lasting effects - reduced the number of Norse on the field rather quickly, while my two rerolls where spent in the first two turns. The Apothecary barely managed to save a Blitzer from a Niggling Injury though.
After the Dwarves scored the Vikings had only nine players left to field and tried for a nice and easy passing game which was utterly destroyed by the dwarves perfect defense. Still by some wonder of NUFFL the Catcher - after receiving the handoff from the Thrower - managed a long bomb to the Blitzer waiting in the end zone. Tied for halftime ...
Second half saw the Vikings on offense and the Stouts leaving huge gaps in the defense line. Since playing BloodBowl wasn't any good today, the Norse quickly adapted ElfBowl, swarming the Dwarves half and waiting for the deep pass. This time the thrower - it was turn 4 - managed a long bomb from the line of scrimage to a Blitzer that had been waiting in the end zone after barely managing to break through tight dwarf defense.
Returning to the game after some Proxy problems the Norse luck changed and they managed to cling to the lead for the rest of the game.
Considering my luck before the reload the luck score above is rather ridicoulus ... still i managed the right things at the right time. Thanx to Baskhus for an excellent game, some nice and funny chat and being a really cool guy all around ;)”
