“PS...It wasn't a single die block that killed poor Bright Belt, It was a two die block my choice. My opponent got double POWs. *sigh*
This type of luck has plagued this team in every game so far. They fail about 50% of all 2+ die rolls. Re-rolls are wasted picking up the ball, and going for it in crucial places, instead of on block dice or on difficult dodges. They were obviously kicked out of their homeland for being talentless, clumsy, and generally unworthy of being called Elves.”
In the first half we both failed crucial rolls, and that didn't get us very far. In the end I had a tad of luck to take the 1-0 lead in the last round of the half....
In the second half the evil dice kept teasing, and this especially owned my opponent, since he kept failing dodges etc. And on top of this, I killed his best lineman (the one with guard), on a single dice block :S
After placing 5 of his elves in the KO box, it wasn't so hard to score the second TD, and I nearly managed to score the third with my Rat ogre, but he failed the pickup, so my remaining GR had to help him out...
Better luck next time! :)”
