“The stadium was packed with blood crazed fans wanting to witness the elvin team being chopped up, crushed and blown apart, the baying cheers were deafening.

The game got off to a nervous start for coach Sleeter's team; the agile wood elves, not renowned for the strength of their armour, were wary of the fanatics and chainsaw carrying goblins, and with good reason.

The elves scored quickly, as is the way they prefer to play, and were relieved when the referee decided to stamp some authority on the game and ban some of the players for illegal plays.

With the way cleared somewhat coach Sleeter told his team to play with more courage and it paid off!

With precision and cunning the elves went about taking out as many of the goblins as they could, trying to target the weapon wielding menaces first. The task was helped greatly by the fanatic tripping over and bludgeoning himself to death with his own ball and chain!

The fans got the blood and damage they had shown up for, but not from the side they had expected it to come and 10000 fickle fans switched loyalty, such is the way of the mob.

The goblins did themselves proud and through the use of their quick feet and dodging skills they managed to score a consolation touchdown. Unfortunately for them, without the fanatics and with the second chainsaw blatantly refusing to start they didn't have the strength to stop the elvin assault and conceded 4 touchdowns before the end.

Coach Sleeter had this to say at the end of the match: "I'm proud of the lads, they done me proud. I have to say I was concerned for their safety, but they're made from tough stuff! Now, where's my vodka?"

All in all a great day of bloodbowl which saw all the reasons people follow this brutal sport!”
