And then the new team - as all but Washssz and gossz have retired for good - headed out on the pitch, collectively, to sniff and snort and snicker over what there was to come.

The first match started out against some undead one of which was truly dead soon after after Washssz and gossz sensually touched him on the forehead. "Szee, I s'ill 'an 'o i'", he explained to the corpse laying in front of him. Massztey not long before that, proved that he deserved to play under the Slurperssz banners after dodging between and around several of the undead retrieving the ball their ghoul had lost. And then the inexperience of new players struck the team - first a failed dodge, then a huge amount of failed blocks and the undead where suddenly leading 1-0.

The Sauri were awestruck and confused - and simply forgot to move or do anything for a couple of minutes at the beginning of the next drive. Time the Undead used to move forward, trying to snatch the ball from the receiving Slurperssz. Johnssson'sssz despite the general disorderly behavior of his colleagues caught the scattering ball, that the undead, despite all their efforts, didn't manage to reach. "I on' 'now wha' ha'en' ... szu'enly I ha' sze ball! Sz'in' szai' I shou' 'un, szo I 'unned." He reported afterwards. And indeed he ran - straight forward deep into the undeads territory closely guarded by Ssszalon Sszelectivessz, who was shouting and signalling at the Saurus during their shared march forward towards the enemies endzone. Only a couple minutes left of the first half, the undead tried to stop the saurus blindly, not noticing Ssszalon Sszelectivessz at all. "S'u'i' Szau'ussz 'augh' ball. Szau'i's uszlesz wisz ball. I szna'szed ball f'om sz'u'i Szau'usz an' ma'e 'ousz'own. Szau'us 'i'n' even no'szise ball wasz 'one.", Ssszalon Sszelectivessz mentioned chattering to his friend Massztey. 1-1 at the end of the first half, and it was the Slurperssz turn to attack.

And the offence seemed to work out well - Schwarzkopf Ossis knocked over yet another Wight that was carried off the field trying to re-attach his jaw. Yet in a replay of first half a dodge failed the ball was lost and the Undead's ghoul managed to score another goal. "'asz'a'ssz. Foolish 'asz'a'szz", Washssz and gossz went wild on the pitch, "you 'an' 'o'dsz', an' you 'an' 'lock, szo'e a'ain a'leasz'. O' I will 'o'e you in sze eye. Eazs of you!" And it worked even! Massztey picked up the ball, passed and Ssszalon Sszelectivessz ran in another touchdown to make the game a 2-2 tie in the end. "A' leasz' sze Fansz l'i'ed i'", Washsz and gossz summed up the match, "I' li'e' 'o have won szou', on sze fi'sz' ma'sz I 'lay a'ain."”
