“The Riot held up Drag's opening drive. Managed to put up enough resistance to stop him and get the ball to an open hobgoblin to score on turn 8 of the first half! The medic was brought out to save Terry Tate and was not available as Womanslayer removed the lower intestine of the Demolition Minotaur.
Second half started off slow for the Demolition, however Vic grabbed the ball from his own endzone and managed to carry it up field. Some untimely luck by Drag and some box in blocking saw Terry Tate get a handoff from Vic and blast in for the 2nd goal!
The Dark Souls moved the ball better and on turn 8 of the 2nd half, Drag scored with his Chaos Warrior by evading a tackle by Terry Tate and ruin the Demolition shutout!
After the match, Headcoach/GM Darkwolf, announced the retirement of his first ever FUMBBL team. Rumours have it that at 20-1 Vegas Odds on the Demolition, Darkwolf made some easy cash and quickly left the arena”
5-turn Riot to start the game just screwed me...I had to play too fast to try and score, and he ended up stealing the ball and one of those bloody fast Bull Centaurs got a TD. I wish mine had been that good when I had a CD team.
[Addendum] 20-1 odds sounds about right, since I had 80 TR and 70 STR on him and I STILL LOST. When the dice hate you, they hate you.
Oh, and I rolled 1 for both Winnings AND FF after the game. A Winnings roll of 1 + -5 really really sucks. :P [/Addendum]”
