#13 Ludwig Voss – Dead (RIP)
Well, after its recent string of defeats, the Blitzkrieg were looking for a win today. A win they got, but it didn't come cheaply. My opponent recieved the kick, got the ref and proceeded to foul every turn, seriously injuring several players and killing poor Ludwig. Thankfully, he didn't seem too concerned with the ball, which Morgan Mann turned over near the Blitzkrieg endzone and handed to Eric Mitgrad who impressively proceeded to run the *entire field* and score in the sixth turn. The amazed fans then rioted, ending the half and denied the Mousetrap the chance to retaliate.

The second half began with the severely undermanned Blitzkrieg smashing through the hapless Mousetrap defense for a textbook two-turn strongside touchdown, complete with a beautifull pass from midfield. The Mousetrap's offensive woes continued as they proved incapable of picking up the ball two turns in a row. The Blitzkrieg uncharacteristically didn't manage to turn them over because of the mistake, finding themselves incapable of getting their hands on the ball. To add injury to insult, Morgan Mann fell under the claws of the Rat Ogre as he was trying to get the ball and is out for the next game. In any case, the Mousetrap eventually managed to score because I didn't realise that their one-turner had taken the field (!) and brought the score 2-1.

With the aid of a bit of luck and a defense more concerned with wiping us off the field, the Blitzkrieg (all 8 players still standing) stormed to another 2-turn touchdown. 3-1 proved too much for even the skaven one-turner to do much about in the last three turns. Of course, it didn't help that the opposing coach fouled needlessly in the second-last turn and got sent off for his trouble. The one-turner finally dodged his way to a 3-2. Let this be a lesson to everyone -- fouling doesn't win games, not against the Blitzkrieg, anyway!
