“Very tough game this one was.
Started out with a OTS by the skaven team. Then the dwarves couldn't mount an offense and were scored on again before halftime. The half ended with the Rats up 2-0, and I had a dead runner (apothed a niggle the turn before, then my runner dies..oh well).
The one thing is that the skaven injuries and KO's were mounting. In the 2nd half, I was able to score in 4 turns to bring it closer, 1-2, while KO'ing the OTS GR, (again) and hurting/KO'ing quite a few others..
In fact, on the ensueing KO, I actually outnumbered the Rats on the pitch 9 players to 8 players. An early skull after the KO helped me get to the ball and pass it back into relative safety, then the RA rolled Pow/Skull on the 1st block of the next turn, letting me advance up the pitch. Next turn I ran to within 2 squares of the EZ (I didn't want to GFI as I'd used a RR I think)..a Failed GFI by a rat let me run it in on turn 8 to tie the game up.
Luckily for me, the OTS GR did not recover from his KO, so the game ended in a tie..It was the tale of 2 halves this game..all rats in the 1st half, all Dwarves in the 2nd.
rolled poorly for winnings, I only have 60k..not even enough for a Long Beard!!!..so I'll be at 9 players for the next match..maybe 8, as Garfield IV got a skill (guard) and a Niggle.

first half first round my star does what he knows best, score.
after that i get to score another td with minimum casualtys. good for me!
i realize that i was facing a deadly team lots of mb av9 and block , guard, tackle.

i had to admid that i've enjoyed the game and i will ask for a rematch. and yes he had a poor dice and that is why i'd like a rematch someday. :)
