“Very even match up til the end, when a blitz! after his second score caught me completely out of position and on the wrong side of the pitch to stop him from scoring the game clincher as time expired. We did our best to stop him, and given a 3+ dodge might've actually been able to score ourselves, but as it was he won fair and square. Good game, here's to the rematch!”
The Blitz! was indeed an incredible piece of bad luck for him, since the ball was caught and surrounded by elves before it even hit the ground! However, the crazy Horns/Dauntless gutter runner (maybe I should have fouled him...) managed to charge in there and knock down the ballcarrier. A few low rolls at that point would have kept the game tied at 2-2, but my Phoenix warrior shone through in the end.”
