“Of course the game disconnects - shortly after which it gets buggy, but I decide to play on. Shortly after that, comes the -AG, apoth fails on my thrower. Splendid. Then more disconnects. After the final (4th?) reload, disconnections are over, but game is still buggy - the tree is quasi-permanently Taken Root - he gets uprooted at halftime, but not after a TD, and even if he passes Take Root roll, he is rooted by the start of the next turn.

I actually looked at the team to see if I conceeded, would I lose anyone? But I decided to be fair to my opponent and stick it out (let him earn his SPP, not just a cheap free MVP and cash, besides, with my thrower gone, I'd need the cash...).

So then the dice turn against me. Skulls and 1's, Skulls and 1's. First aciton burns the RR every turn - and still is a turnover half the time. But still I decide to stick it out.

Then, just at the end, a couple of lucky turnovers and suddenly the score is 3-3, and I've got the ball with a turn to go, deep into his territory. Taking out a Blodge catcher proves too much for the Witch Elf, and a couple of dodges later, Touchdown. Game over.

So let this be a lesson to all the whiners (like me). Freaking stick it out, no matter how bad the dice rape looks. At least you may hold on like a real BB team should - and maybe even snatch victory from the jaws of humiliatingly injurious defeat!
