“Yeah...this was a great game and I was rolling hot.
Just a few corrections though for the sake of accuracy. The skink made a one die block to free the Saurus so he did not have to dodge. He still had to pick up the ball with his one AG and hand off to the Kroxigor who wasn't bonehead and then scored going for it twice. A personal aside...as lucky and as good as this team played this game, the winds of chance are fickle and in the ensuing game against the Plague Wind, a skaven team, the Slytherine coach became totally exasperated as he saw his yellow bellied Saurus' throw blocks fit only for grandmother gekkos as they went their 4th consecutive game without a casualty. Even worse, their defense was a sieve to these skaven and they put up SEVEN, yes SEVEN, touchdowns to clinch a blowout 7-0. Yes, we longed for the days of playing the Undead.”
Only one mummy is always a bitch but when the opponent has the dice going his way when it matters you go down badly.
Highlight of the game;
His saurus picked up a ball in multiple tackle-zones, dodged away and handed it off to the kroxigor, whom scored with 2 gfi.
Yeah...
After him scoring 3-2 he got perfect defense and the ball going to the only corner which was badly covered.
Obviously I then failed the pas and burned a rr.
to then really ram home the difference he could even score 4-2.
sigh.
Ah well; at least I made the cash for the new mummy.
And don't let this bitter report fool you; it was a pleasurable match and a fine opponent.
edit; the saurus DID dodge away, using up a RR though. The kroxigor did not dodge indeed. The 1D block (without block-skill if I might add) pushed away the zombie. ;)”
