“This were one of my worst games ever. I could not stop HickoryDuff offence more than once, and my own offence sucked.
I was behind 1-3 in the start of the 2. half, but in my turn 6 i scored, and made the score 3-3. This were a big mistake, I shuld have stalled...
HickoryDuff recived the ball and due to a injurytime, he was left with 3 turns to score. All the players were fighting on the LoS, including the player with the ball. At this point I thought the game would end 3-3. So I decided to pack around his players. This is where I made my second big mistake. I had no backup player in the deep, to intercept a runaway from the cluster.
With a couple of blocks, and some force moves, a player was in the clear, and i was not able to blitz him. I managede to put some tacklezones on him, but with Dodge skill and a Re-Roll all he had to do was 3+,3+,2+.
HickoryDuff did not Hesitate, and scored in the final turn 4-3.
In the end I played stupid, and with a lot of errors. With all due respect for HickoryDuff, who played a great and fair game, I think I should have won the game, and I really can't understand how he was able to score 4 times against me.
I think a conclusion might be:
HickoryDuff won because of he's ag 4 offence and he's ability to roll 3+ in certain situations (not including the apothecary).
I lost because my iron-defence failed, I did not stall (because I hoped to win the game) and my offence did not work constantly but only when I scorede my second touchdown.
A lot of talking, HickoryDuff was better than me today, but I am hoping for at rematch soon!”
“Its true, my AG 4 worked well against his orcs. I'm happy that my rolling skills weren't too bad, because after the first turn, I was scared.
First turn: Finrod dies. So I'm left with 11 players, but with two catchers. As the game wore on, two other of my players were BH, and then then I was down to 9 players, with various states of KO.
Nonetheless, H-Hund played a solid game, and I'm sure he would have won, had he stalled. But you must respect someone who decided to not stall and make a boring game.
The rematch will happen again someday. And my elves will be eager to take on that solid defense of yours again!
