However, it was stonedz who got the hard end of it, as his early attempt to cage was turned over by a slight error in placement, allowing Elan to get in and cause trouble. The dropped ball was smuggled away and upfield by Woof's helpers hangng around in midfield to make it 1-0

Eimil, who set up the breakawy, was rewarded with a rock to the head from the Faerie fans, so well-thrown he sat out until turn 15...
No matter however, as another running move falls down (bad luck this time), and the Stars yet again sprint away with it. The coverage was sparse, and Eimein takes it home unchallenged for a 2-0 h/t lead :)

Second half and it was our turn to mess up our drives, once in our own half to make it 2-1 via the waiting catcher, and then Eimein missing his catch, allowing the Faeire backfield to shift it forward for 2-2. Time was running out and we had a few koed, but we went for the long one, Eimein running direct to the endzone and hoping like hell the long bomb was on target... it was :)

Really fun game, the only bad injury being, amazingly, a tree (just how do you gouge a tree's eye?). I thought a draw would've been fair, and I was very lucky with the late pass. So good sportsmanship from stonedz for not being as annoyed as I would've been :)”
