“A couple of unsuccesful blocks in the beginning (as well as choosing a blitz instead of a block at one point) forced me to make a few 4+ rolls (the most important one failing) and a an interception by a troll ended with the Sponsors getting their dirty hands on the ball, and the half ended with a 1-0 to the Sponsors. That is; after I tried a desperate -2d block against his ball-carrying hobgob with Charlie Hunter - a block ending with 'Smoothboy' being seriously injured. There was no salvation for him as I had already used the Apoth on my guard-blitzer who suffered a similar injury. So, a few KO and injuries after the start of the game I faced a numerically superior Chaos Dwarf team - and I was kicking.
After a second TD by the Sponsors I had 6 players left on the field and no catchers.

The game ended as bloody as you could expect and with the loss I expectet. I had considered hiring a Star Player previous to the game but deemed it better to save the cash till after the match was over, as Dusko was already guaranteed to win the tourney 3pt ahead of the nearest contesters.
