“An slitghly untypical high tr game, both sides fight hard for, it and the amazons eventually outblock the Stars, leaving too few players to stand up (full stop)

The first half could've been written pre-match, a lightning two-turner from the Stars followed by a rumbling drive down the field by the amazons. The wardancers gave them a bit of a scare in the backfield, but once they got the cage secure and moving the td was assured. Half-time, 1-1.

The second half opened with an amazon cage and push, and we gave them less trouble this time. To my surprise, zanzon went right over the line on turn 12, under a little pressure, but leaving the game still up in the air. Unfortunately our reply was snuffed out by an interception in midfield, and with most of our remaining players waiting for a catch upfield the zons were able to run and score their third easily. Our next attempt went better, the linos making a catch and scoring, but it was too late. Final score, 2-3.

A well-natured game and no major injuries, and zanzon was a little more lively than many coaches at high tr, giving the game a chance to come to life in the second half with the early score. A decent match :)”
