“Fights, fouls, players falling down, balls being kicked around... and this was all before the game started. One knew it was going to be a rough evening in front of the crowd when you two Handicaps are Cut FF in half, this against the team with the lowest FF in the league and palmed coin. I believe Coach Lo was quoted after hearing about the these handicap assessments saying "WHAT THE F*(+" are they trying to get us killed. The Comics of Armageddon started with a great deal of misques and missed opportunities. It was funny show put on by the Comics, in that Dick Van Dyke kind of way, it just was not the way we hoped funny was going to play out. T1 Killed in his attempt to pick up the ball near the sideline booted it right out of bounds and all the way across to the Stompers side of the pitch. T2 Material was BH'ed out of the game as many others on the pitch decided to lie around for a quick nap. If not for some good work by a few and the fact the entire team did not end up in the injury box the Boys of Armageddon would have faired much worse that a 0-0 tie at the half. The Stompers had the ball to start the 2nd half.
After a failed roll by the Stompers C.A. rush and over played the ball in an attempt to gain control. Bad choice, they where quickly out moved and out blocked by the Stompers to the tune of a T3 score. The Comics gained possession of the ball on the ensuing kickoff and handed it right away to their Big Money player, the player who is solely responsible to carry the image of the great Tommy Dean. Yes, some plastic surgery was done on the Bull Centaur, but not much. Mike responded like a champion. With what remained to his teammate the push to a risky T8 Touchdown to tie the game and remain unbeaten.
Good Work to Gumbi and his boys, hope the did slightly better on his test than the game.
