What a crazy crazy game. The Girls started in offence, but were soon under pressure as they crumpled due to their own poor blocking over and over again (Blitzer roll skull, rerolled to Skull, next turn Catcher rolls double skull/pow, rerolls to get double skulls etc etc).

The Girls did manage to eventually control the ball and advance it up the wing, where they lost it temporarily. With superiour numbers and what looked to be a certain score coming up, the Girls knocked the ball out of bounds (failed reroll to pick up the ball too) and it went flying from inside the opponent's half to just short of their own end zone where the Legends had nearby players!

There was a tense fight for the ball, but eventually, the Legends recovered teh ball and ran in a TD to take the lead just before the halftime break.

In the second half, both teams lined up with only 8 players. The Girls played tough defence, but the Legends still had a difficult chance to score a TD but the pass missed, allowing the Girls to recover.

As more and more casualties piled up against the Legends (including two from being pushed out of bounds), the Girls found themselves outnumbering the Legends 9-3 as they equalled the score late in the second half.

The Legends had enough time to score, but with only 3 players available (two KO'd guys were still sleeping, and there were 6 that were casualties), they could not do much with the ball despite a touchback.

The Girls with great aplomb recovered the ball from within their own half passed the ball and ran it past the line of scrimmage and then all the way to the Endzone to win the match when there was not a single elf left on the pitch.

The first half was shocking for me, so many unlucky rolls, the ball going from his half into mine, ultimately allowing him to score. However, the second half went my way in a spectacular fashion as I racked up casualty after casualty (including one from my only foul of the game).

It was all in all a fun game against a fun opponent.”
