“I received and started my drive on my right flank but switched to my left when the Vamps (slightly) overextended themselves.
2 fairly early injuries (blitzer and bob with block) both halfway the first half made my life rather miserable. I decided to delay a turn in the hope to stop the Vamps when they had only 2 turns left to score.
Touchback and some lucky rolls made 1-1 and they received 2nd half. I was down to 9 players vs his 10. One thrall had died. (bled dry?)
Early the second half another thrall died by the hands (teeth?) of a Vampire. I tried with little hope of stopping their drive but a timely failed ofab roll by the Vampire with the ball resulted not only in no TD but also in a thrall KO.
A short scrap later my thrower could secure the ball and short-passed it to a line-orc whom hurried away. And even made it in the end to the endzone, killing a third thrall in the process.
Bummer for my opponent but I cannot say I was all that displeased really.

“The vamps were unable to stop the first touchdown of the orcs, even though they quickly got two orcs off the field. Then Gilles and Kazimira started to wreak havoc among the Thralls. Two deaths in short succession, and the apo failed. The equalizer was scored in two turns. The touchdown that would have let to victory was again hindered by the bloodlust of Kazimira who rather fed on a Thrall than moving behind the line. The final death was caused by the Orcs' thrower in a 1d-block. Time to go home for the Sanguine Stars.
Oh, but the game was hilarious, nevertheless. The thralls performed really well in all the blocking, and the vamps pulled some amazing stunts, too. Maybe I'll have slightly bit more luck on the injury rolls with my next vamp team.”
