However, next game should be very interesting, with two players MNG (the niggle came from a failed dodge, trying desperately to get away from his mummy), not enough cash for a replacement player, and drawing an old world team next. Good game, a khemri team which was out for a victory and not blood first. He picked up the ball first try to start the game, and was advancing a wedge of skeletons around the ballboy and his 4 mummies wreaking havoc all over. However, some very fortunate 1d blocks on my part allowed me to break into his cage, have a double-skull return block end his turn prematurely, then bust the ball out of the ball boy's hands. The nervous khemri were unable to pick it back up, and my gutter danced in, grabbed, and ran like his hair was on fire towards paydirt.

Second half we score in typical skaven fashion, quickly. With a 2-0 lead we were able to finish out the game in pure delaying mode, trying to slow his score down enough to ensure the victory. It worked--two turns without a blitz! kickoff are just not enough for khemri to score, assuming they could get the ball back.

Disregard the luck meters, we had to reload twice, and his mid-game wasn't nearly as lucky as his early/late game.

Cheers to a good natured opponent, and here's hoping I never have to face another khemri team again!”
