“Da Elves and Coach Shorty both made their Bloodbowl debut friday night as they faced off against CopyCat's Nemesis Online vampire team. The action was a bit lacking as the CopyCat was unable to keep vampires focused on the match at hand.

At kickoff, three of the Nemesis vampires ran into the crowd searching for a quick drink. Their remaining vampire was totally ineffective against the swarming offense of Da Elves. Da Elves patiently marched their way down the pitch taking every opportunity to gang up on the practically leaderless thralls. After the score, CopyCat was able to entice his absentee vampires back to the pitch but by then the half was essentially over. Final score at half: Da Elves 1, Nemesis Online 0.

Da Elves kicked off to Nemesis Online to start the second half. When the ball landed, there was not a vampire on the field for the Nemesis team. Da Elves siezed the opportunity and rushed downfield, laying blocks and generally putting themselves in excellent position against the shorthanded thralls. After some Nemesis style heroics, eventuality defeated desire with the elves delaying a certain score the closing moments. A few of the Nemesis thralls even attempted to throw some of Da Elves toward the vampires in the crowd but Da Elves were able to scramble off with minor stuns. Final score: Da Elves 2, Nemesis Online 0.

Reports from the sideline indicate multiple puncture wounds and deflowerings but nothing serious. Needless to say, the fans were generally unimpressed.”
