“At the end of the first half, score tied 1-1, my humans had a great shot at regaining the lead 2-1 as time ran out. However, the sun got in the eyes of my thrower and caused him to fumble the ball out of bounds, which then threw it back in to where only elves could get it. He very nearly got a touchdown out of it, but bad luck stopped him.

It would be the last bad luck he'd face, and only the start of mine. Suddenly his team started to rake in the cas, while my apo forgot to bring his little black bag to the game. My blodger has the ball, figuring himself safe from the tackle- and stripball-less elves, but such was not to be. Of course he POW'd, sent it back the other way, denying a chance at a 2-2 draw and making it 3-1. Three straight turns I then tried for a completion spp for my blitzer, but alas, it also was not to be. At least the ogre got another cas, giving him his first skill...a normal skill, so he's still useless.

Next up: Lizardmen. Boy, am I looking forward to playing a mass of str 4 players while I myself am down a man! /*sarcasm*/
