Hmmn. A game of two halves for the Dark Elves. In the first half, they went 2-0 down due to a heady combination of two key factors - their own terrible luck and their opponents outlandish luck.

In the second half, however, the further two touchdowns scored by the Noble Ladies were due to the hapless strategy of the Mentalists, and the good play of the Vampires.

Turn one of the first half ended with the receivers' - the Noble Ladies - 4 blocks resulting in an exciting stunned, 2 KO and a BH, luck 84%. The kickers, on the other hand, managed to fail their first 2+ dodge, resulting in, yes, a stunned. Luck 18%.

The first half ended with the Turn seven dodge-blitzing of my ball-carrier, stunned (along with my only other elf in scoring range). Although I had failed all of my 2+ passes of the half, Habeli was able to mock my luck by doing a reroll-less dodge, grab ball, dodge, sprint, pass, catch, dodge, sprint, sprint to score.

During the second half the Mentalists inability to protect their ball carrier (and a certain propensity for coming up ones on the first roll of the turn) meant two loose cages were easily prised open, and the desperate breaking runs of Malkus Mandae were quickly curtailed.

Two solid scores by the Vampires made it 4-0 and a final, desperate block, ball grab (in two tzs) hand-off (one tz) dodge pass to the endzone was stopped by (of course), the easy 2+ dodge.

The Dark Elves may well rue their luck, but even with better luck they would still almost certainly have lost.

However,. the fans demand rerolls.
