“A very fun close match that could have easily gone either way if it were not for some very funny and bizarre moments.
The Boyz started in offence and progressed a cage upfielf. They opened up expecting no difficulties keeping the ball thanks to their Thrower's ability to dump off the ball when hit, but they threw it the wrong way and the ball was intercepted (6)!
The Nandorins didn't get very far with the ball though as the Boyz applied their pressure to get it back. However, they failed to pick it up (twice failed with Sure Hands for 4 failures to roll 3+) and eventually the Nandorins stole the ball to take a 1-0 lead.
The Boyz had a chance to score in the dying minutes of the first half to level the scores but failed to break free (needed 3+ but no reroll left).
In the second half, the Nandorins scored quickly and the Boyz replied to trail by 1 TD. The match looked certain to be a Nandorin victory with the second half almost over, however one of their Linemen fumbled a pass to start their drive and the Boyz charged in, stealing the ball whilst also sending a player down the opposite wing.
Nandorins surrounded the the Boyz players who were guarding the ball carrier and with limited time left the Boyz did a daring play, breaking free with their Thrower and throwing the ball into the corner out of reach of the Nandorins! It was a perfect quick pass with the ball scattering to the best possible spot!
The Nandorins put defenders on the Boyz but they were too agile and able to recover the ball and tie the match (though last two rolls of 2+ required were without a reroll).
A very very fun match. My first half rolls put me right out of the game despite me having a commanding position. I was sure I was going to lose, but then the snake eyes by my opponent late in the second half gave me the opening for an unlikely draw but I manged to pull it off.
Not often that a draw feels like a victory heh.
Unfortunately for my opponent though, I killed his AV7 Dragon Warrior with a straight through block (no Mighty Blow) after his apothecary was used on a niggle earlier in the match.

Very fun apart from that death. ”
