“After enjoying a blizzard in the last game, this time we had some heat...
The whole game was very tight, and the Falcs responded to every one of our TDs. After a 3-3 draw at halftime, we blizted in the 9th turn and took the lead again. With 5-4 and two turns left, Racso managed to steal the ball, but failed a gfi and the Falcs got the equaliser quite easily against 7 players. With one turn left, Eden Swifth realized that the Falcs were celebrating the draw, so while they were busy celebrating, he managed to score a last-turn TD to win the game.
This was the first time the team was displaying an all-wide offense, and it worked nicely. Three different players scored 2 TDs.
A surprising statistic of this game is that we failed to cause a single injury, despite trebling the number of blocks of the opponent: 56 against 17. Even more surprisingly, two of our players were badly hurt (Mango the Wardancer in the second block of the game!).
All in all, this was an enjoyable game that could have been won by either team.”
