The first half had been largely in the hands of the elves, scoring our owen drive and then getting a bit of luck to overturn the humans twice. High speed attack from the leaping brigade saw us go in at half time 3-1 up, although gruvster nearly got a second just before half-time.

The second half looked like it might undo our hard work, as the humans scored their drive and then very nearly undid ours, until Assian regained his feet and hit the ball to safety, to make it 4-2. The opposition got one back, but there wasn't ime left for an equaliser by that point.

The sort of game an elf always loves, and it was good fun for both sides. Gruvster was pretty unlucky in the first half, and that may have tipped the balance. Would enjoy a rematch, if the score was the same :)”
