But the Anathems decided to use their apothecary to keep the Saurus in the game so they would not be down too many players considering none of the Babes had Mighty Blow.

This was an unlucky decision cos shortly afterwards, a Saurus Warrior was killed by a block.

The Babes were unstoppable as they beat up the Anathem team and stormed to a 2-1 victory with 3 Saurus Warriors and 2 Skinks injured on the way.

I was rolling nothing but gold 95% of the match and there was nothing my opponet could do.

Even on a turn where I rolled double skulls, rerolled to double skulls and left my Blockless Thrower in the path of a Saurus Warrior, I ended up on top... the Saurus blitzed, got double push. Rerolled and got Push and Skull/Pow. My opponent chose Skull/Pow (who wouldn't???) and stunned my AV7 Thrower. But his AV9 Saurus seriously injured himself (niggling) on the block!

With his player out, I had time to recover the ball.

Moments like this must have been disheartening for my opponent, but he played on and kept competing. Great sportsmanship.
