“Really good team those high elves. I never really came close to scoring and they always outnumbered me. They could have scored more than the two touchdowns if it wasn't for some bad luck in the 8th turn !!

They started receiving and scored pretty quick, hurting my team in the meantime.
Due to a touchback Steve (my ogre) got the ball in an attempt to give him some more experience. This didn't quite worked out the way I planned and he was knocked down. After some quarrel the Elves got the ball but their ballcarrier was distracted by a failed block on the scrimmageline and didn't make the endzone before the whistle although he was only 2 feet away !!

The second half started with us receiving and we screwed up immediately with a missed catch. The Elves again got the ball before us but we managed to get it back. Not for long though. Our team was so thinned at that time that organized play was too difficult to set up. The elves with their superior agility (and all block!) were just better.
We did what we could and the ball hit the ground a lot and we even got our hands on it twice but in the last second they could score.

Although they only caused one casualty and I three they knocked A LOT of my players in the KO box and it was only towards the end that we could give them an answer.
