“A really innovative, hard-working match, both teams battling away for every ball, only to result in a draw.
The first half was one long ball-chase, as the Horde received and then set up to move down the pitch, not counting on the Elven cage-breaking ability. We smacked the ball out and looked like we might steal it, but a shoul got back to rescue them. And so it went back up the pitch, only for the captain Afesol and an insane leaping-dodging assist from Illis to take the wight down, and then back, and back again. It was literally end to end stuff, and we both had a chance right up to the last turn of the half.
The second half saw us receive and score our trademark goal td, putting the undead up against it. They set off on the same battle, with a more determined look about them this time, and via thinning out the elven numbers, finally wore down our backline and took it home in turn 16.
The casualty count was as usual higher than I would like, but this was one of those matches with a lot of careful movement and endzone scares. Quite low scoring, but a lot of fun.”
