What can i say :-)
I was to arrogant and cocky to take on an orc team 80 tr better than the jedi.
It was a disaster from the start...
I have learned my lesson, and will probably stick to the more suited tr for my elf team ;-)

All in all, was a good game in the end, Malthor is always a tactical genius when it comes to placment and if not for a 6 to intercept i might hvave salvaged some pride with at least a td... but it was not to be.

I cant wait to get the team to a higher standard (300 tr again) so i can play those pesky orcs and take revenge!!

Not a fun game for Wizard.

Offered him any of my teams and he chose the Orks.

Down 80 TR, he got 4 handicaps which were actually pretty good once I also had my Mega-Star Thrower niggle and miss the game.

I started in defence, and NextJedi took a risky and unlucky first turn. His first leaper R2-D2 jumped straight forward instead of diagonally up meaning a 3+ first dodge and a second 2+ instead of just a single 2+. He then failed a GFI using a reroll. The next leaper went the same path, but failed his jump leaving R2-D2 alone with the ball in the Boyz backfield.

He was soon blitzed and sent to the casualty ward and the Boyz recovered the ball and started escorting it upfield.

Wizard became disheartened and wanted the game to finish quick, especially with his girlfriend breathing down his neck and a cyclone about to hit Darwin so he really shoulda been taping windows and getting emergency supplies instead of playing! I also had my wife breathing down my neck because I started a game just before dinner preparation time so I couldn't help...

So we both played the game as quick as possible, with Wizard mainly trying to run away and keep his players safe (not that I was really gunning for them) though he did have a good attempt at scoring that resulted in me intercepting his Nerves of Steel Dump Off pass.

Unfortunately for me, I chose the wrong player (both needed a 6) and my guy went from 75 SPP to 77 SPP and then got a niggling from the aging roll.

NextJedi then finished out the game with no money despite a better modifier on the die roll and lost a fan factor too.

Not a fun game for my opponent, but not a good result either for the Boyz as they may have let go of one of their only two Mighty Blow players who is also an AG4 Blitzer.

Better luck and more fun next time Wizard.
