I elected to receive and the drive was fairly straight forward for a turn 4 score. No cas and only 2 KOs, but early days yet. Then the luck really starts to kick in. A quad pow/skulls block handed nportela an easy equaliser. Then the next drive stalled (fair enough) and then ReRixbin pulled off an amazing dodging run to pass for their 2nd. Still no cas.

Then the rats received, held all their players back while the rat ogre stood around doing nothing. He broke downfield and I could easily swarm the cage to at least force a load of dodges or risky blocks. Snake eyes on a GFI and another easy score for the rats.

I followed that up with double skulling a one dice block, more double skulls and basically nothing that mattered worked after I'd scored the first.

nportela played well and exploited my abysmal luck to the full - ensuring I never got a sniff of getting back into the game from 2-1 down.

Just as a nice sum up my MVP went to the niggled fred, who prompted retired inspite of getting a 2nd movement increase.”
