“Well the dice were certainly with me in the first half. A fumbled pass saw an early turnover, with the knives taking the ball well out of reach of the somewhat slower orcs. Early on in the game, it seemed that all the orcs could do was pushback, a few knock downs, and the occasional stun, and with a little bit of luck, the Knives managed to secure a 2-0 lead by the end of the first half.
Things started falling apart in the second half, mostly elves ;-). And although they snuck in with a third touchdown, things were not to last. The second drive saw the knives down a couple of players, and the orcs took advantage of it, making an easy TD, and putting holes in quite a few of the elves in the process. By the end of the match, the only elves left on the pitch were those foolish enough to say out there. Still, a victory for the knives, hard fought, and resulting in a few retirees.
